Juan Pantoja

Juan Carlos Pantoja holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad de los Andes, which he completed in 2015, and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad de Nariño, obtained in 2009. He has contributed to the academic field through the publication of one article in journals and has been recognized with two awards and/or honors. He has been actively involved in research, serving as Principal Investigator in one project and as a Researcher in another. His professional expertise lies in the areas of Engineering and Technology, particularly in Civil Engineering, and Exact Sciences, with a focus on Computer and Information Sciences, specifically Computer Sciences.
His research interests encompass various aspects of Civil Engineering, including seismic risk assessment, structural analysis, seismic analysis, bridge design, wharves design, and building design. Additionally, he has expertise in computational techniques such as deep learning and machine learning, which he applies to areas such as structural nonlinear analysis.
